But it causes hazardous conditions like fire or explosion.Namely, Static discharges which give shocks to personnel are not usually dangerous, but are certainly unpleasant and can cause secondary reactions. A real danger exists from static discharges in the coating industry and similar areas where combustible solvents are used.
